Set in the heart of the Peak District this 300 year old stone building tastefully restored and converted into a luxury residential home.
The Old Barn was origionally used for sheltering live stock and hay. In the mid 70's this property was transformed into an open planned styled family house and since then we as the current owners have added many new and high quality features.
The Old Barn is situated just outside the historic town of Chapel-en-le-frith (in turn located between Macclesfield and the Spa town of Buxton).
This is a great location for walkers with many local walks starting just at the end of the drive, but take 5 minute drive and you will find yourself at the picturesque village of Castleton. Here you will find more stunning walks excellent pub food and the famous Blue John Caverns.
For the more adventurous there are many exciting places to visit, including:
The owl otter sanctuary at the bottom of our lane, Going Ape in Buxton, clay pigeon shooting, horse riding and much more.
